I received my new Zettle card reader and plan to use it at an upcoming show. I would like to be sure I know how it operates before the show starts. I tried to use my Mastercard debit card as a test and the transaction was canceled. I have used this debit card as a credit card in the past. What's the transaction canceled because it is my own name, trying to charge to my own Zettle account? How can a person familiarize yourself with how the transactions work, prior to "going live" at a show for example? I would hate to put up signs saying I accept credit cards but don't know how to do it or it won't work!
