Good morning, I have been struggling with your company for the last two weeks . Customer service has been no help. And incredibly rude and untrained. It just occurred to me that you must have a new security algorithm. Because it has totally destroyed the last two weeks of my life! It started with me not able to pay my latest installment to my electric company, since I pay using my PayPal debit card for that, and for other things like streaming services that charge my card at start of new billing cycle. Well I was unable to pay my installment at ComEd which triggered them since I was on a deferrred payment plan. To then inform me the power was going to be shut off on sat. I did not have the money til Monday to then pay the full amount owed of $338. To avoid power being shut off. When I contacted PayPal. They said your security “algorithm”. Said someone tried to use my old expired card , that expired over a year ago!!! On Amazon. And that they will issue a new one??! Insane reason to cancel a current card? Fine. Five days pass no alert to when new card is coming, contact PayPal again. Informed first person I contacted, never ordered card???!! Unacceptable customer service, you should be ashamed. Order new one get it after 14 days since originally contacting you guys. I go to do laundry for first time. Card doesn’t work? What a surprise. Apparently according to customer service that $2.05 charge that I do once a week. Was flagged as suspicious? Then after another day of it not working. Then informed I should have been told to wait 72 hrs before I try again. Ok. Then I wait, doesn’t work? Shocker!! Contact customer service , informed your security system doesn’t recognize the fact that all these attempts on my old card are from utility companies streaming services, and other charges that are constantly happening in my account monthly. That’s a huge flaw. And I can’t find out what companies are doing it? Because PayPal only tells me a charge was declined but not what for?? The. I contacted you again to find out and you tell me places that I made successful purchases from??? So now I can’t even use my new card . Because my old card is constantly having charges being attempted. So I can’t wait 3 days. This is the stupidest problem I’ve ever experienced in 44 yrs of life.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
