Paypal pay in 3

I have previously used paypal pay in 3 many times. However, my bank card recently expired and I updated the details after being reminded that a payment didn't go through. I have gone to purchase something using pay in 3 but the option is no longer available. Will pay in 3 option have been taken off my account?

If you have had a failed payment then yes that is a possibility as they won't risk any 'loan' payments if they think they may not be paid.
