Paypal Credit Refund in the minus

Morning! I recently purchased tickets to a gig that was then cancelled. The payment was made through PayPal credit which I have since paid off. The seller has now refunded me the tickets and its sitting on my PayPal credit as a negative figure. I've seen some people say that it stays like that until future purchases are made and will be deducted that way. Surely this isn't correct? Is there any way for me to get that money back? Thanks! X

Contact PayPal customer service and ask if you can get the negative PayPal Credit balance refunded to you.

Yes, you can use the negative balance towards purchases, too if you prefer. And if you leave the negative balance there for a couple of billing cycles, PayPal Credit will eventually issue a refund.
