PayPal credit refund

I recently paid for something via PayPal credit and got a return to PayPal credit. After receiving the refund I had my balance in full plus the refund that was snowing as minus on the account. I have no paid for something else with PayPal credit but am still shown the original refund as a minus in my account and have to pay the amount of my new purchase. How do I access the minus amount?

I do understand your concern with this. It sounds like your refund may not have cleared yet. 

Refunds typically take 7-10 business days to reflect on your PayPal Credit balance. For further details, please click here.
