Pay in 4 refund

I made a purchase yesterday using PayPal pay in 4. For some reason the business I purchased from cancelled the order. I now have to wait for the refund of my first instalment. Does anyone know how long this can take? it was a Christmas present for my son and I don’t have the funds to get him something else so I need this refund asap.

Sorry to know that your recent purchase has been canceled and you're looking for the refund. As you paid using Pay in 4 option for this purchase, the merchant would refund the PayPal Pay in 4 loan the refund amount due for your returned or canceled merchandise, in full or partial.
