Pay in 4 issues

When using check out I requested Pay in 4 but the full amount was taken from my checking account. What can be done about this?

I'm sorry to hear that the full amount was taken from your checking account when you had selected Pay in 4, @Adbaxter24. As mentioned in the article, @kernowlass linked, it could have been because your Pay in 4 application was denied. However, it may have also been a temporary authorization. When making a Pay in 4 purchase, a full temporary authorization may appear on your bank account initially, and once the payment is completed, it'll be updated to just a debit for the first installment. That initial authorization should be removed soon. Most banks remove temporary authorizations within 7-10 days.
