Pay in 4 - Authorisation in progress, however order did not go through to company

I tried to make a purchase using pay in 4 - the payment has been taken out of my bank account and is listed 'authorisation in progress' in PayPal. However my online order did not go actually go through with the company. Any suggestions?

Hi @temp20220221c.

 

I understand your concern about Pay In 4 transaction. If you do not complete your Pay in 4 transaction, the pending authorization will be automatically voided by PayPal within 72 hours of the pre-authorization hold. I recommend you check the Activity Page of your PayPal account for detailed information about the transaction.
