Pay in 3

Hi, I accidentally missed a pay in 3 but paid 5 days later, it’s the 1st time it’s ever happened after 3 years, but I’ve noticed it’s not offering me that service anymore, will I ever get it back as it is so useful for me. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the post and welcome to the Forum! I can understand the disappointment in Pay in 3 not being offered on recent transactions.

Pay in 3 is not offered on every transaction. There are multiple factors that are considered in that determination, and not all transactions are eligible. Just keep an eye out for future opportunities to use it.

Hi Olivia, I’ve been using pay in 3 for about 3 years and missed 1 payment in error which has since been paid 5 days later when I realised it hadn’t been took out, is there a time frame in which it will be offered again if it ever does? I’ve tried to use it on the sellers that I know I’ve used before with pay in 3 but to no avail, do paypal have a direct email address I can email to, I only seen to see a telephone number. Thanks in advance.

Due to the variety of reasons why the option might not be offered, it is not possible to pinpoint the reason for its absence, and there isn't a way to predict when it will be offered again.

Contact options for PayPal can be found by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website, or if you like you can send a direct or private message via Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter/X.
