Package Returned from UPS...send again using the same transaction and update tracking info?

I sent a package using UPS and updated the tracking info. The package was lost, found, and returned to my apartment. Is sending the package again and updating the tracking info the best course of action? It has been five days since I originally tried shipping the package.
