No request money button for ukrainian account (some other people from ukraine seem to have it)

Hello! Im from Ukraine, and I created a paypal account back in 2018. It said that function to receieve money on ukrainian cards appeared recently, but I have no request money button on the site or in the app. People who created fresh accounts seem to have it (and even able to receive money from abroad). Is there any chance it will be fixed?

You won't be able to have a request button or option as that would be a goods/services payment and the new rules state you can receive paypal payments but only via the friends/family option.

Thank you! I think thats it. If Im using paypal to get paid for example for freelance video editing, I can still use friends and family option?

Sadly not, you are still limited in accepting gifts of money from friends/family only.
