Just got the Cashback Mastercard. As part of getting it, was supposed to get a credit.

Just got the paypal mastercard cashback card and was offered a credit as part of the sign up. But it hasn't arrived yet. Does it take a bit to arrive?

Welcome! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. Sorry to hear there's some confusion regarding an offer for PayPal's Cashback Mastercard. I unfortunately wasn't able to confirm there would be any kind of credit applied upon approval or signing up for the card available for all users. If you did receive an email or notification saying you would receive that kind of promotion, I'd recommend reviewing that promo's Terms and Conditions in that notification to confirm how and when any rewards would be applied. 

However, I was able to find the following page on what cashback rewards you would be eligible for with the PayPal Cashback Mastercard.

What a joke of reply.  You are part of the problem I detailed in my prior post.

I just went through two lengthy calls with both the Mastercard and PayPal representatives.  They said that the credit was "only visible to representatives from the credit card specialists" and would transfer me to someone else.  I couldn't take it any more and hung up.  

So, at this time with all the circular handoffs and the fact that PayPal contracts with outside organizations for both this as well as PayPal credit I can only assume that this is a *scam* and will be cancelling the account ASAP.  I *will not* deal with companies who work this way and go out of their way to make resolving it a total pain.
