Issue directing to PayPal home page with online purchase

Hi, when customers are purchasing via our website, they are directed to sign into their own PayPal home screen to finalise payment. However, recently there have been a few who have not gone to home page, instead to a page where it asks them to add  card details to their account. Has anyone experienced this and suggest a potential fix?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

 

In general, this may happen if our system does not detect a safe payment option for the buyer. Usually, this has nothing to do with the merchant, but with the buyer's account. I would recommend asking the buyer to contact us directly, or to add a different payment source to their PayPal account.
