I want to capture customer information when accepting a mobile payment via Zelle

Hello:  Under the old system, when I accepted a mobile payment, Paypal would record the customer name, along with other information.  Now, with Zelle the customer name is not captured -- the only thing that I see is the date, amount, last four digits of the credit card.  Zelle doesn't capture the customer name.  What is does provide is useless.  We're a small operation, and I don't understand why Zelle requires the additional steps when Paypal didn't require those additional steps.  Is there a way of capturing the customer name when accepting mobile payments without having to go through the consent process?  Thank you for your help.

Hello @ccbrevard

Welcome back to the PayPal Community Forum!

I'm sorry to hear that your customer's names are not being captured when accepting mobile payments. The customer will have to consent that their information is saved before it can be captured. There isn't an option to change this setting, and I apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. You can learn more about enabling PayPal Zettle customer lists on our Help Center here

Best wishes!
