I put 4 paypal later, but I didn't acitivate it- yet take the money

I was going to purchase it, but I cancelled it because I want to reassure I got the items and for some odd reason- I saw my recent activity that I paid certain amount, but the thing is I didn't confirm it. I hope by 3 days (bc 72 hrs is 3 days) will put money back into my card/bank. That's what I want to say- thank you.

I'm hving more or less the problem. Here in Italy you can use paypal to buy something and pay in 3 installments. I was going to buy 4 tires for my car but I changed my mind and clicked in cancel. But paypl made a debit in my acount, and the seller didn't received the money. And the worse thing is in app I can't report this problem for this payment.

Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some confusion with a recent payment attempt. When making a purchase with Pay in 4 or Pay in 3, PayPal will place a pre-authorization hold on your payment method for an amount equal to the down payment or one-fourth or one-third of your total purchase amount. This will show as a pending authorization within your PayPal Account Activity and also at your financial institution.
 

If you do not complete your Pay in 4 / Pay in 3 transaction, the pending authorization will be automatically voided by PayPal within 72 hours of the pre-authorization hold. Although PayPal has released the hold on your funds, this may take up to 1-5 business days to process through your financial institution.
