I cannot get a payment to process on paypal credit and on the phone I keep getting cut off.

PayPal are driving me crazy. I am trying to pay my PayPal Credit account in full and close it. When I try to pay online it asks me to add a bank account. Which I do. The response is we already have this account, which is true. So when I go to pay again it asks me to add an account. It's like Groundhog day. So I try to do it over the phone on both numbers ending [removed] and [removed]. In each attempt I go through the security and say I want help on PayPal Credit. They ask me "so you want help with PayPal Credit" I say "yes" and I'm cut off. That has happened five times so far. I am so mad about it that I am going to close my PayPal account. But of course I have to pay off my PayPal Credit account, so I can't. It is classic Catch 22. Does anyone know how I can call a real person, without going through their bot system?

Did you confirm your bank account after adding it?

Also you can add and confirm a debit card instead.

The second link got me to a help site with a different tel no. which didn't cut me off and I was able to pay off the outstanding balance and close my PayPal Credit account. At last and thanks again. Btw I also live in Cornwall 😊
