Demand for a Pay in 4 payment I do not owe.

I keep getting emails from PayPal that I owe $89.89 on a Pay in 4 that isn’t even active. No one seems to want to help me and I am concerned this is going to affect my credit because it says they are “attempting to collect on a debt”.  Where do I go to get this cleared up. Thank you.
