Create a QR Code from a paypal.me address like on: https://www.paypal.com/qr-codes/download

Hi how can I create from a paypal.me address or username the qr code from https://www.paypal.com/qr-codes/download?

Background: I want to pay someone via qr code to have insured transmission but do not pay the horrendos fees. With QR Codes the fee is reasonable.
But the problem is that the other partner needs to create the qr code. And for some this seems quite tecki.
So my idea was to use their paypal.me address to create the qr code

PayPal.Me is a simple way to pay using a link, and it doesn't create a QR Code. You can learn more about how someone can create a PayPal.Me link on our Help Center here.
