Can't cancel payment of pay in 4

So i messed up and did a Pay in 4 method for products from a website. Only after i got the confirmation email, i realized i had likely been scammed. Now that being said, i cannot dispute the the past transaction or anything due something to do with the " sellers" account. I'm hoping i've not been scammed out of the amount i agreed to pay. Does anyone know how to solve this? I haven't called paypal but i was hoping with the protection we get from Paypal that this could easily be fixed. And i have tried everything suggested by the help center and i get that same response about not able to do that with that account.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you
