$40 Paypal Credit

I signed up for a PayPal credit card when offered a $40 credit. After being approved I tried to use the credit on a purchase, but the $40 credit was not showing during the checkout. What can I do to get this offer?

I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues with a promotion with PayPal Credit. If you are eligible for this promotion, you should have received a notification inviting you to take advantage of it. If you have the notification about the offer or have a link to the promotion's details, I would recommend reviewing the terms and conditions to see if you've met all the eligibility to apply the promotional offer for the purchases or stating what steps need to be taken to be eligible. Otherwise, you would have to reach out to our PayPal Credit's Customer Support teams for assistance.

Hi! I have the same problem. I am unable to figure out what to do about it. I have called PayPal and whomever handles their credit card and they kept transferring me back and forth so I finally hung up. I clicked on the link in the email to "view reward" and it says to go to "offers" in your PayPal account but I can't even find "offers". I then thought they might be saying you have to spend $40 or more on qualifying purchases just through your PayPal account and not necessarily the credit card but I don't want to do that until I know what I can spend it on and what qualifies. Very frustrated to say the least. Let me know if you have had any luck because I am beyond frustrated with this.

Same thing happened to me. I was on phone 1 hr 25 min today. 4 other calls. No one sees promo. I am **bleep**. I am filing complaint with consumer protection bureau here in Wi. Thankfully I've documented all theses calls. Transfered back n forth to all depts . [removed]

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that got **bleep** on the $40 promotion. Anyone else's account not want to accept there bank routing information and got charged a ridiculous amount in late fees? I did $30 on a $61 purchase. Only reason I signed up for paypal credit is to get the promotion....

I had no issue at all.  I did not even know about the $40 offer.

I was on a sunglasses website and was in checkout

and I went to click the [Credit Card] button and I saw {Pay Pal $40 Credit Offer] button.

SO, I clicked it, applied, approved and finished.
