I cannot find this answer on the Paypal website or on Google searches, so I hope someone here may be able to help, please.
I am in UK and I need to invoice a client in USA. I understand that if I bill him in UK POUNDS, he will be shown the equivalent amount in US DOLLARS to make the payment, and I will pay the foreign currency conversion fee and any other Paypal fees.
Is this correct?
Are the fees different if I "request a payment" from him from if I send him a Paypal invoice?
Thanks in advance for any help in this.
Hello @XYZ-321
Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forum!
There’s no fee to create and send an invoice or payment request. You only pay a fee for receiving a payment when your invoice or request is paid. The fee is automatically deducted from the amount that you receive. Fees may occasionally change. To see the latest fees, click Fees at the bottom of any page.
