I set up a PayPal Me for people to gift us money towards our honeymoon via our wedding website. We had the first person attempt to send us £400 but it didn't go through and didnt leave his account. As a result he attempted again 2 weeks later and this time it shows up on my wedding website as money given but its still not showing up in my account a week later. I dont normally receive money through PayPal (except for small eBay transactions) so am wondering if it will eventually show up or if i need to do something. I cant see any trace of it being on hold or anything atm and my email address is verified.
Please ask the sender if the payment was completed out of their bank? and also if they can see in their PayPal account activity a payment to your PayPal account. The payment can show different statuses, like Pending or Completed.
