PayPal India tax related query

Hello,

I am providing online services to a US-based Edu-tech company from India (on work from some basis).

For my services, I receive the payment to my Paypal account, and then to my Indian bank account.

My query is whether I need to pay tax on this received amount?

If yes, then what is the process of paying the tax?

Also, do I need to issue a GST number?
