PayPal Credit payments are -Negative!

Why are my PayPal Credit payments I make to this account displayed as a negative but all refunds display as a positive?  
This is very unsettling and annoying to see.  It makes me believe the balance on account is totally incorrect. Please straighten this out in harmony with universal accounting principles AND update my balance.  I mean what kind of math is this?

Yes i have a refund from Paypal after dealing w fraudulent charges using my debit card number and its grey ( negative) and should be green if its a refund as its labeled but the money doesnt even reflect in the accounting. When on phone w cust service he even said to me “ yeah the accounting is just as confusing on our end” wth!!!
