Hi, I would like to use PayPal's pay in 4, but I only have a debit card and DO NOT want to open a credit card. Will me using pay in 4 create a credit card or something like that?

No, it would not create a credit card. You choose how to pay for the installments with your linked funding sources.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
