Pay in 3 “something went wrong”

Hi all. I used pay in 3 a few times in the last year. Very good idea and helps a lot. But recently I have had 2 purchases that when I select pay in 3, it’s say an error has occurred and select another method of payment. Does anyone know why this is ?????

I am sorry to know that you're not getting an option to make a payment via Pay in 3. Pay in 3 may not be available for certain merchants. PayPal Pay in 3 as an option may also not be available based on our internal checks. Here's the article to know more information.
