If I cancel a digital gift how long would it take to put the money back into my account?

Would it be longer just to wait for the gift card to send or to cancel and get my money back?

Gifts cards are generally sent within 24 hrs.

Sometimes, it can take longer due to transaction reviews under certain circumstances such as first time gift card purchase, used a newly linked payment method or a high value order.
