I'm based in Ireland and restore cars as a hobby, I want to buy a significant amount of parts off another hobbyist in Spain they will be large parts chassis ,engine, part of the coach/cab some other miscellaneous rare parts/ trims . The parts will amount to 2,500-3,000 euro worth so myself and the seller are both nervous, as a result we have agreed to draw up a contract and share copies of identification (passport/license numbers) with eachother and video call. The parts will be transported by a specialist transporter at the cost of around 1,000euro to me. If God for bid the transporter goes the parts aren't real or the seller doesn't send the parts, or parts don't turn up, will I be covered by PayPal protection? Is it possible to ask PayPal this directly and how? I know cars aren't covered in PayPal protection, this is rare car parts not a car, the parts are to be used in a rare cars restoration. Thanks.
