trouble sending money to the US from the UK

I have tried and failed to send money to the US from the UK why is this? I have the funds and I have checked and rechecked a few times.

Well if you don't want us to just guess then a bit of info would help.

what currency are you sending?

are you funding it from your balance?

are you funding it from bank account or card?

are you sending it for goods / services and if not which option?

have you double checked the email addy is correct?

what error message do you get?

when do you get the problem during the process?

etc etc.
