transferred money to bank account then closed it

so I sent my PayPal balance to my bank account, not the instant debit card option. but the next day I had to close out my bank account due to fraud charges. the status said complete but the bank never said anything about the deposit that would go through. so I haven't gotten a refund or anything. so is there anything I can do or is the money just gone?

Complete means paypal have completed your request to 'send' the funds to that bank account, not that they are actually in that account.

If the account has been closed totally then they should bounce back to your paypal account balance.

Allow 14 working days and if no show then contact customer services for a trace.
