refunds

twice in the last couple of weeks i have tried to buy an item from a free-adds advert, i have sent payment twice, and paypal have told me the money has been refunded/refused. the seller has sent me messages saying i have cancelled payments both times . seller has asked for payments to be made to two different email addresses. am i being scammed? thanks

I'm sorry to hear that the payments you're trying to make are being declined. Declines can often happen for reasons of risk that our security system detects. If the seller is asking you to pay to different addresses, that presents another element of risk. Please use caution.
