pending payment

i have just bought a macbook from apple using the paypal credit, so i want to pay in monthly instalments. but the purchase hasn't gone through due to something wth my paypal? do i need the full amount in my bank or just the monthly instalment amount? also the payment on my activity pays pending and needs authorisation.

In general, if a purchase that you made with your PayPal Credit account has not gone through due to an issue with your PayPal account, I would recommend checking your Resolution Centre in order to see if there are any pending issues waiting for your response. 

 

If not, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Service in order to review your specific situation. You can call our Customer Service on 0800 368 7155 from Monday to Friday from  8am to 8.30pm (GMT) and from 8am to 6.30pm (GMT) on Saturday and Sunday.
