payment issue

I sent money to someone and he said his account got limited so he cancelled my transaction. BUT my money was already taken by Paypal. I just want to get my money back... what should I do?

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

My account shows Completed/sent now.. But he said he haven't got money.. this is so strange.. is this because he cancelld my transaction? Anyway I wanna get money back asap

If his account was limited that does not mean the payment did not go through.

So if he has not issued you a refund then open a paypal dispute for non receipt of item?

Do I need to open Dispute? we have talked about this situation and he also want me to get money back. That's why he cancelled my transaction. He know Paypal is gonna solve this issue .. he said he also haven't got money that I sent
