not receiving payment

a company is trying to send funds to me but is getting an error message stating that i only accept funds through my website. why is this?

Because the option to 'receive' Paypal payments in your country is not available.

You can only 'send' funds for purchases.

Click on the link below and select the country you want from the drop down list for options available in that country.
