in a refund money arrived to my bank account but not the rest to my paypal balance

Hi Guys,

I´m new to baord and I searched about this but couldn´t find a specific answer.

Also, reached PayPal via email many times but every time I got the same answer: "If you made the original payment using your bank account, it usually takes 5 working days for your refund to complete."

Here´s my problem:

1) On 27 November one hosting company got (took) 246,60 USD from my account: 49,00 USD was in my PayPal Balance, rest 197,60 USD paid via Euro as 186,05 Euro by taken from my Euro bank account as my PayPal´s secondary payment option was that.

2) On the same day I let the hosting company about it´s being wrong and they refunded the money on the same day.

3) Refund seems arrived on the same day as:

Refunded to 186,05 EUR PayPal Balance 49,00 USD PayPal Balance

No problem until here, HOWEVER;

186,05 EUR arrived (returned) to my bank account back on 5 December as:

Credit from PayPal Withdraw to bank account

BUT 49,00 USD is LOST. 

NOWHERE.

No trace, no activity, nothing about that.

Where is my money?

Do you have any idea?

If you funded the original payment from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Paypal say allow 30 days although its normally much quicker than that, country dependent.

However, it´s not related at all.

1) I´m "the client" - I got a refund from a third party company.

2) That company charged my PayPal account by 186 Euro + 49 USD for a payment. It was wrong, so they refunded the amount. THAT COMPANY REFUNDED: from that company 186 Euro should be returned PLUS, also 49 USD as 186 Euro taken from my bank and 49 USD was in my PayPal Account as PayPal Balance

3) 186 Euro returned properly and in my bank already.

4) THE PROBLEM: 49 USD was and is NOT RETURNED and NOWHERE.

5) In my PayPal Activities, both 186 Euro and ALSO 49 USD seems returned (refunded AND ALSO ADDED TO MY BALANCE and returned also to my bank account)

Thank you very much. Issue was resolved. It was my mistake I couldn´t see and or trace the balance "on time" before some other automatic payments were done in between.
