how to change preferred payment method on paypal

how to change preferred payment method on PAYPAL ? I want to pay online from my balance but does not allow. Please HELP

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.

When i click on paypal as a prefered way, a message show up with red says „ you can“t use this option try to select another way“
