how to change amount of recurring payment?

Can I change the amount of a recurring payment with PayPal or does it need to be on the other end- with the institution who the $ goes to?

You could cancel the recurring payment as below and then resub with institution under a different amount:

Finding your automatic payments on the website:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Payments.
3. Click Manage automatic payments.
4. Select the merchant.

On this page, you can Cancel the automatic payment and change the payment method.

Contact information for your merchant can be found in the automatic payment.

Or contact the institution to see if they can adjust it through their subscription or recurring payments dashboard of their account:
