how long does it take when I issue a refund from a payment I recieved?

basically if i issue a refund from a payment a customer sent me how long does it take for them to get their money back? is it instant?

Issued refund arrival times vary depending on the sender's originating source of funds.

PayPal Balance: fairly instant

Bank Account: 3-5 or 5-7 days depending on the bank

Cards: A week, up to 30 days depending on the card
