fund transfer not yet released by Paypal

I made a downpayment on a vacation rental for $507.50 on 2/5/19 and per my recent inquiry via email she tells me she has not yet received the funds? They have never used paypal before and prefer I use the Zelle app but I'm not comfortable as it requires my debit card. How do I reassure her that the funds will be available to her? and how soon should that happen? I still need to complete the transaction before our trip, which is still several months away. Can you help me?

The payment is likely subject to PayPal's 21 day hold (particular if they are a new PayPal user receiving money). In such cases the funds are in their account it's just pending and they should be not reticent to continue with the transaction because of this. 

 

You can contact PayPal customer service to confirm if this the reason or if your payment gone missing or not showing up on the recipient's side at all.

 

Contact customer service for assistance:

Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.
