error claiming money

HI, 

I am currently working and my employer tried to send me money but It isn't coming up in my account. According to them they sent it went through but it hasn't come up on my end. its been about a week and I tried to claim money in my email and that didn't work either, I keep getting an error message. I have tried many times to log out, refresh and re click the messages but nothing is working. I also tried to call PayPal but I am unable to get a physical person on the phone.  any tips on how to fix this or get in contact with someone who can help?
