ebay transaction pending

I paid 97.23$ to ebay through paypal two days ago, but the status of this transaction is still "pending". Could you please explain what is the problem and when the transaction completes?

Pending in your paypal account / sellers paypal account / both paypal accounts?

Does it say awaiting authorisation?

Does it say pending/unclaimed and if so is there a cancel option?

Is there a clearance date?
