I sold an item on ebay. The money was transferred from the buyer to PayPal and then to my bank account.
The buyer asked for a refund.
I set up my PayPal account to link it to my bank account and then I authorised the refund.
The money went out of my bank account and into PayPal, and then PayPal declined the refund.
Now there are no funds in my PayPal and the money isn't with the person I want to refund, or in my bank account.
Where did the money go?
