Generally, your payments will only go as an echeck if you do not have a backup funding source on your account. If you just have your bank account registered then we must wait for your payments to clear before your seller can access them. If you have a card added to your account along with your bank account we can pay your seller on your behalf and then claim the funds once they have cleared from your bank account. Having a card registered gives extra security and if your payment was to fail we can then charge your card instead. If you already have a card registered then I would check to ensure the details are up to date as if they are not we cannot use it as a backup funding source.
