sent an echeck by accident and want to cancel. the recipient says there is no option to cancel on her end. it is still in pending status

Ask the recipient to really make sure there is no button or link to cancel the eCheck in Recent Activity page, Activity page or within the transaction details by clicking the transaction. I thought and from personal experience generally recipients are able to cancel the eCheck.

If not then I guess the only option is to call your bank to cancel it if the recipient doesn't have the ability to cancel it:
"If you’d like to cancel an eCheck after it’s issued, please call your bank. If you’d like to cancel an eCheck that has already cleared, please contact the seller directly to request a refund."
