cancel payment

I need a cancel a payment Transaction ID is 9DG24467PF6361233 it's pending right now I don't know why chegg charge me for this one and how can I cancel this payment

I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but it's not possible for PayPal to cancel a payment once a transaction has been submitted unless the status shows as Unclaimed. If the payment is Unclaimed, you should be able to log on to your account, click on the transaction in your Activity and Cancel it. If it's not Unclaimed, I regret it's not possible to cancel it. Here are some other options, however.

 

Based on your description of the situation, it appears you may have done business with Chegg previously and a charge came through that you weren't expecting. This indicates there may be a Billing Agreement with Chegg. You can see if the payment is associated with a Billing Agreement by logging on to your PayPal account and clicking on the transaction in your Activity. This will display the Details Page which has all the information on the transaction.

 

If the payment was completed by mistake, please contact Chegg, let them know the payment should not have been charged and ask for a refund. If Chegg doesn't respond or refuses to issue a refund, you may be able to submit a dispute to PayPal and ask for help getting a refund that way.

If the payment was not sent as part of a Billing Agreement, and Chegg will not issue a refund, it may be necessary to ask you to submit a dispute for Non Receipt or Not As Described.
