awaiting a refund

Hi, Bought something on ebay for $39.99

But cancelled order and requested a refund 30 mins later as i had purchased the wrong item.

Now awaiting the refund from paypal in 2 to 5 days, no problem with that.

But i have notice that the $39.99 has been withdrawn from my bank twice with the same ref. number.

Should i be worried or wait and see what happens after the refund comes through.

It's strange that the amount has been taken twice. As you mentioned, I would suggest you waiting for a few days for a refund. Otherwise, please contact us by clicking 'Help & Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal homepage so that we can look into this further. You may reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter.
