add another debit or credit card

i already add my credit card to my paypal and confirmed my card, but when i try to checkout in ebay and choose my PayPal account it gives me this message add a new debit or credit card, any help

If you are paying with a PayPal balance, PayPal asks you for a back up payment method. Click "change" and select your card.
