“You’ve got funds” scam or not

A purchaser has deposited payment to PayPal
However I have received an email from “you’ve got funds” supposedly from the “ PayPal team “ (but with no PayPal logo on the email )advising me that the funds will not go into my account until I provide a copy of a Neosurf voucher which can be used to pay for the postage
as I have been unable to contact PayPal can anyone advise me if this is a legitimate procedure or email from PayPal

Scam. This is one of the most common schemes I have encountered so far. Note that PayPal will never ask you to send money in any form (coupons, gift cards, bank transfer, wire transfer, etc) to receive your money. You can refer to this Help Center article to know how to spot and report spam emails.
