Won’t let me pay

So I’m trying to pay my artist for / drawing, but it keeps asking me to add a payment method, so I do but it just sends me to the exact same page and ask me to add a payment method again?? It does not give me an error message or anything. Starting to get extremely frustrated

Read the checkout screens carefully, it may be asking for a back up payment method but will check and use your preferred payment method first.
