Unfortunately, there is no error code nor do I receive a true "error message". However, any time I try to send an individual money [not purchasing or paying for a service] more than 3 or 4 times, every future attempt is blocked by PayPal. The orange-font message is simply [paraphrased] "PayPal is unable to send this payment as this time. Please try again later or contact customer service."
My PayPal account has a legit checking account associated with it as well as a CC for back up payment. The address is confirmed too. So, all of the most commonly cited hindrances do not seem to apply in this case. Yet, I simply cannot send repeated payments to people.
Why do I ask? I have a friend in college who I am trying to support as much as I can. It is super easy and, hopefully, secure to transfer these funds to her via PayPal.
